Safety
NOTE: Because the safety and protection of each client is
always a priority, BHW RI is adhering to RI State Health
Department requirements in order to help fight further spread of the COVID-19 virus. Sessions may include donning a face mask for both client & therapist, hand sanitization and possible health questionnaire. Additional cleaning and safety measures will be added as needed to ensure a safe environment is available at all times.
Medical Precautions
Please inform us of any health conditions, such as recent COVID-19 illness/exposure, infections, colds/flu, recent surgery, broken bones, sprains, allergies, etc.
Certain treatments/services may not be appropriate for various
medical conditions and may
require further inquiry and/or discussion with the therapist. If requesting Ashiatsu, please see the page referencing medical info.

Protocols
If you are a new client, please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early. This will
allow time to fill out a brief, health
intake form and a few moments to enjoy the serene environment
without feeling rushed.
Age Requirement
Any youth under the age of 18 can receive services, only if they are accompanied by a parent/guardian during treatment and who will also
remain in the treatment room at ALL times. Appropriate treatment for the client will be determined prior to the scheduled session.
The therapist may request a waiver be signed by the parent or guardian.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are no longer offered, but if a previous certificate is presented and is expired, the client will pay the difference of original purchase price and current pricing.

Payment
Full payment is due at the time of service by check, cash, Venmo or credit/debit card, unless payment is made with a gift certificate, or is paid in advance via phone or website at time of booking. Any special offers are always based on the normal price. .
Gratuities
**No gratuity is required.
Each service is set at a flat rate.
Cancellation Notice
24 hours notice is required to cancel/reschedule any appointment. If a client fails to show for an appointment without notice, a charge of 50% will be applied to a credit card on the first missed session. If a second appointment is missed, 100% of the booked service will be charged. However, if the appointment time can be booked by another client or referral, then no charges will be incurred.
